Welcome! My name is Hanjo Terry Kim (I go by my middle name, Terry), and I am a job market candidate in the Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University. My research interests are in macroeconomics and international economics.
My research focuses on how the household heterogeneity interacts with aggregate dynamics in open economies. My job market paper explores the role of entrepreneurs in explaining distributional implications during sudden stop episodes. In my other work, my coauthors and I examine how the production specialization of different regions led to unequal outcomes during the Great Depression.
Here is a link to my CV and my job market paper.
I am currently on the 2021-2022 Job Market and available for interviews at the ASSA 2022 Virtual Annual meeting.
